To this day, he still suffers from the effects of the bullying he experienced, but he has made it his mission to help others who are experiencing similar situations. He has worked with various organizations to help spread awareness about the issue of bullying, and he hopes to continue to make a difference in the lives of those who have been affected by this issue. Slyide is a strong advocate for children and teens who are victims of bullying, and he will continue to fight for their rights and safety.

What makes Slyide so distinctive is not only his narrative but how he’s using his platform to spread awareness about autism/Aspergers and break down barriers for people with disabilities.

We had a chance to catch up with Slyide and here’s what he had to say:

Q: First off, can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your background?

A: I’m originally from Richmond, VA. I started making music in my late teens and never looked back since. I was always into Hip Hop and loved the culture. Music has always been a passion of mine. When I was younger, I would log onto YouTube and watch videos of my favorite songs for hours on end. But it wasn’t until I was a bit older that I realized that I could make my own music. And so, armed with only a laptop and a dream, I set out to teach myself how to produce and mix beats.

Q: What has your experience been like as an artist with autism/Aspergers?

A: It’s been interesting to say the least (laughs). There have been ups and downs but I’ve never let my diagnosis define me or hold me back. If anything, it’s made me stronger and more determined to succeed. I want to show people that anything is possible if you set your mind to it regardless of what life throws at you.

Q: What was the inspiration behind your latest project, “Gangstas Paradise”?

A: The original “Gangstas Paradise” is such a classic song and it’s always been one of my favorites. I wanted to put my own spin on it and add my own flavor while still paying homage to the original.

The song “Gangstas Paradise” is one of the most iconic rap songs of all time. It was originally released in 1995 by American rapper Coolio, and it quickly rose to the top of the charts. The song samples Stevie Wonder’s 1976 song “Pastime Paradise”, and it features American singer L.V.

Q: What do you hope people take away from your music?

A: Above everything else, I want my music to inspire people. I want them to know that no matter who you are or where you come from, you can achieve anything you set your mind to if you’re willing to work hard for it. Nothing comes easy in life but it’s always worth the fight when you finally reach your goals.
